At around 8.00pm on Saturday 9 April 2022, a man entered a hotel on Murray Street in Perth and climbed through an unlocked balcony window to gain entry into a locked room. Once inside, the man stole several property items, including jewellery valued at over $7000. The man left the hotel via a fire escape.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, medium build, with short hair and an unshaved appearance. He was wearing a navy blue, grey and white jacket, a dark coloured cap and dark coloured pants.
