Around 6.30pm on Sunday 3 March 2019, two men and a woman were seen attempting to gain entry to the roof area of a building on The Esplanade in Scarborough.

After trying to force a locked door with an unknown implement, one of the men climbed over a safety railing and onto a decking area where there was a step drop to the ground. He then climbed back over the safety railing and left the premises.

Police have released a CCTV image of one of the men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: Light skinned, around 18 years of age, medium build and short light brown/red hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.
