At around 2.30pm on Tuesday 5 November 2024, the victim returned home on Caldervale Avenue in Ellenbrook and discovered her dog out the front of the house. The side gate was found open with a broken lock, and a fly screen removed in an attempted break-in. CCTV captured a man and woman with two children force the side gate open and remain in the backyard for a time before leaving with the victim’s electric scooter.

Police have released CCTV images of the man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: dark skinned, average build with a long dark braid. He was wearing a black top, black pants, black sneakers and black cap.

The woman is described as: dark skinned, slim build with curly brown hair. She was wearing a black top, grey pants and light sneakers.
