At around 4.10am on Sunday 14 January 2024, the victim who was driving along Hepburn Avenue in Ballajura came across a vehicle parked in the inside lane and a man standing in the middle of the road. The victim stopped his car about ten metres from the man who walked up to the front of the victim’s car and smashed both his fists down onto the front bonnet before walking around to the driver’s side door and punching the window and trying to open the door. The victim quickly drove off fearing for his safety.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age with a beard and moustache. He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt, dark coloured shorts and a Chicago Bulls cap.
