At around 4.30pm on Wednesday 2 June 2021, a man entered a supermarket on Princess Road in Balga. When the man was at the checkout, a staff member recognised the man as having previously stolen items from the store. The staff member advised the man of this and that he was not welcome back in the store. The man became angry and punched two plastic checkout safety shields, breaking one of them.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, 20 to 30 years of age with short dark brown hair, thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a black T-shirt, beige shorts and black runners.
