At around 11.45pm on Friday 15 December 2023, a man was with some friends in a park on Telethon Avenue in Perth. The man is seen on CCTV walk onto the footpath and line up a small tree before running at the tree and tackling it. The tree snapped at the base and was destroyed. The man used his phone to take a photo of the damaged tree before walking off.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age, brown curly hair a moustache with a tattoo visible on his right forearm. He was wearing a green shirt, light blue shorts and white sneakers.
