At around 11.05am on Tuesday 16 January 2024, a man entered a jewellery store on Council Avenue in Rockingham and asked a staff member for assistance in looking at diamond rings. The man spent considerable time looking at various rings, eventually deciding upon a gold diamond cluster ring. As the staff member placed the ring on the counter in front of herself the man grabbed the ring and ran from the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with shoulder length dark brown hair, short beard and moustache. He was wearing a red ‘Everlast’ t-shirt, blue knee length shorts, red shoes, a red ‘Chicago Bulls’ cap and was carrying a black man bag.
