At around 1.50am on Sunday 18 December 2022, three men entered the victim’s taxi on Telethon Avenue in Perth asking to be taken to an address in Woodvale. When the victim requested payment up front and explained any over payment would be refunded, the three men refused to pay up front and became angry and abusive. The victim exited the taxi and was approached by one of the men with clenched fists while another damaged the taxi’s job dispatcher device.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first man is described as: white skinned, large build, between 35 to 40 years of age with short blonde hair, blonde beard and spoke with an Irish accent. He was wearing a black t-shirt.

The second man is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 35 to 40 years of age with a thick black beard and moustache. He was wearing a flannelette shirt over a dark coloured t-shirt.
