At around 1.00pm on Friday 1 March 2024, a man entered a clothing store on Albany Highway in Cannington and used a stolen bank card to make a fraudulent purchase. The bank card was used to make a further three fraudulent purchases at other nearby stores soon after. The bank card was inside a handbag stolen when left in an Uber ride to Maylands the previous evening.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with dark brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black cap, white joggers and sunglasses.
