At around 3pm on Sunday 29 December 2024, the victim attended Glendower Street in Perth to purchase an Apple Watch Ultra 2 from the seller. A man approached the victim claiming to be the seller’s son, and gave the victim a watch packaged in a legitimate Apple box, the serial number and receipt. However, when the victim got home and further inspected the watch, he discovered it was a fake.
Police have released CCTV images of the man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build with dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a black top, brown pants, white sneakers, a blue and white hat and sunglasses.
