At around 11.45am on Monday 8 July 2024, a woman entered a liquor store on Lake Road in Myaree and used a stolen bank card to make a fraudulent purchase. A further seven fraudulent purchases were made that morning using the same stolen bank card at stores in Myaree, Willagee and O’Connor. The owner of the bank card believes he dropped his wallet while out walking in Willagee.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 20 to 30 years of age with straight long auburn hair. She was wearing a long-sleeved pink top with black pants.
