At around 11.15am on Monday 8 July 2024, CCTV recorded a grey vehicle stop at the top of a gated driveway at a home on Albany Highway in Armadale. A man exited the vehicle and entered the front of the property through a gap in the gate. The man walked around the property looking at various items before returning to the front door and pressing the doorbell and speaking with an occupant. The man said he had run out of fuel and when he was told to wait at his vehicle for assistance, the man returned to his vehicle and drove away.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with dark brown hair tied back into a small pony tail and an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a black t-shirt.
