Between 3:00pm and 4:00pm on Sunday 10th January 2021 a stolen bank card was used to make fraudulent transactions at a service station in Perth.
The bank card, along with mobile phones, passports and cash had been stolen from the palliative care ward of a hospital. The person had briefly left the hospital room with assistance when an unknown person entered and took the items from a bedside table.
The bank card was then used to catch a taxi into Perth CBD and to make multiple fraudulent transactions whilst there.
Police have released a CCTV image of a person who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The person is described as: tanned skin, average build with long black hair. They wore a black shirt, navy pants and black shoes.
