At around 8.10am on Thursday 7 November 2024, the victim left her bag in her office on McNeil Street in Peppermint Grove. Later that afternoon, the bank notified the victim of five suspicious transactions. When she returned to her office, she discovered her wallet had been taken. CCTV captured a man using her bank card at a petrol station at around 3.30pm that afternoon.

Police have released CCTV images of the man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, average built with short grey hair and stubble. He was wearing a dark hoodie over a grey top, black jeans, white sneakers and a gr een cap.
