At around 10.20pm on Friday 15 December 2023, a male is seen on CCTV enter a convenience store on Murray Street in Perth and use a stolen credit card to make four fraudulent purchases. A further seven fraudulent purchases were made at various locations around the Perth CBD using the same stolen card. The victim’s purse containing the bank card was stolen moments earlier at the Hawkers Market in Forrest Place.

Police have released CCTV images of a male who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The male is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 20 to 25 years of age with short brown hair. He was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, navy blue shorts with black sneakers and carried a black backpack.
