At around 6.00pm on Sunday 7 January 2024, the victim parked his car on Bonner Drive in Malaga and went into a restaurant to pick up an order using his mobile to pay. Later that evening he was notified by the bank that multiple fraudulent purchases were made using his bank card. The victim believes his wallet containing the bank card was stolen from the centre console of his car while unlocked outside the restaurant.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age with a brown beard and moustache. He was wearing a black ‘Boyz N The Hood’ t-shirt, black track pants with a dark coloured Chicago Bulls cap.
