Between 10.30pm Wednesday 15 July and 10.15am Thursday 16 July 2020, a vehicle was broken into in a car park in Leederville. The vehicle was thoroughly searched and a wallet was stolen from within. Inside the wallet were a number of items including cash, credit and debit cards.

 

Just after 11am the cards started to be used in St James, before being used in the Beechboro, Forrestfield, Wattle Grove, Kenwick and Maida Vale areas to fraudulently purchase items from service stations, fast food outlets and a supermarket for a total in excess of $500.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The woman is described as: Around 20 years of age, medium build with brown long hair. She was wearing a black jacket over a grey top and dark long pants with a red stripe down the side.
