At around 3.20pm on Sunday 23 October 2022, a man in company with a woman attempted to make two fraudulent purchases with a stolen bank card at a service station on Scarborough Beach Road in Scarborough. Moments earlier the victim’s wallet was stolen off a table alongside his work tools while the victim was doing maintenance work inside a hotel in Scarborough.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age with a shaved head and ‘150’ tattooed on the back of his neck. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with cream coloured trousers.
