At around 1.47am on Friday 21 April 2023, a man entered a service station on Warton Road in Thornlie and used a stolen bank card to make two fraudulent purchases. A further three fraudulent purchases were made later that day using the same stolen debit card. The stolen debit card was dropped by the victim the previous evening when walking along Warton Road.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 40 to 45 years of age with a grey goatee, short beard and distinctive tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and black cap.
