On Tuesday 23rd April 2019, a woman in her 40’s was walking around Dunmore Park in Merriwa with a female walking friend.

At approximately 6.25pm the victim and her friend were walking on a footpath parallel to Marmion Avenue between Suva Glade and Greyhound Drive.

The victim noticed that a man was following behind them for a few minutes. She was waiting for the man to walk past, however, he didn’t. The male has then indecently assaulted the victim before
running across Marmion Avenue towards Littleham Park, Quinns Rocks.

Police have released a composite image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as dark skinned, large build, approximately 183cm tall, brown eyes, black beard and moustache, wearing a baggy black t-shirt, long denim pants, dark coloured sneakers and a dark coloured baseball cap.

Detectives are urging anyone who saw the incident, the man crossing Marmion Avenue or can identify the man, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at
www.crimestopperswa.com.au. People providing information to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous if they wish and rewards are available.
