Cannington Detectives are investigating a robbery incident that occurred at a residence along Belgravia Street, Cloverdale on Tuesday 7 May 2019.

Around 1:30pm, the 65-year-old male victim was working in the driveway of the address when he saw a man attempting to start his black Hyundai Getz (1GJU712).

He ran over to the vehicle and jumped into the passenger side window, attempting to stop the man from driving away.

The man was dragged by the car for about 1km. The car was driven along Belgravia Street before turning right onto Kew Street. This is where the man fell from the vehicle.
