At approximately 8:00PM on Friday 24 May 2019 the victim was working at a shopping centre in Balcatta. A man approached the victim and tried to steal the victims watch from his wrist. The victim has resisted and the victim was assaulted and pushed up against the wall of the centre.
A security guard attempted to intervene and was also assaulted by the suspect.
The suspect was seen leaving the centre in a grey coloured Holden Commodore sedan.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: Brown skinned, medium/solid build, beard/moustache wearing a red baseball cap, red hooded top and dark long pants.
