At around 8.40pm on Wednesday 8 September 2021, a female with a bag full of items taken from display shelves in a retail store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland, walked out of the store without making any payment. A security officer confronted the woman who brandished a pair of scissors. The security officer grabbed the woman’s arm forcing her to drop the scissors and then recovered the bag with all the stolen items.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman is described as: tanned skin, slim build, with brown hair tied back on her head. She was wearing a black jumper, black pants and black joggers.
