At around 10.30am on Monday 4 October 2021, a man is recorded on CCTV enter a gymnasium on Collins Road in Kalamunda while a class was being taught. The man is seen crawling along the floor into a staff area where he takes a staff member’s handbag before crawling back out of the gym. A short time later a female makes numerous fraudulent purchases using a bank card from the stolen handbag in Maida Vale and Forrestfield.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, medium build, between 40 to 50 years of age with short black hair and black facial hair. He was wearing a camo jumper.
