At around 4.45pm on Saturday 3 September 2022, a man and woman entered the self serve area in a supermarket on Joondalup Drive in Joondalup with a trolley full of groceries. After the woman paid for one item only, a staff member asked to see a receipt. At the same time, the man attempted to leave the self serve area and rammed the trolley into the legs of another staff member pushing her out of the way and injuring her leg. The man and woman walked off with the trolley full of groceries.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with dark brown hair and an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a grey ‘Everlast’ hooded jumper, black track pants, white joggers and a grey cap.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, 20 to 30 years of age with light brow hair tied back into a bun at the back of her head. She was wearing a black and grey ‘Chicago Bulls’ hooded jumper, black track pants with black and white runners.
