Bunbury Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a supermarket in Carey Park on Monday 2 September 2019.
Around 2pm, a woman entered the store with two young children (one in a pram) and began walking around selecting items from the shelves. The woman hid some of these items within her clothing. The woman walked to the check out to pay for some items before having her card declined. The woman attempted to leave the store, at which point a staff member approached her and requested she place the stolen items back.
The woman pushed the staff member (a woman aged in her 50’s) causing her to fall backwards and injure herself as her head hit the ground. The woman ran from the store with one toddler holding on to her and the other toddler in the pram.
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman is described as: Dark skinned, aged between 20-30 years, large build, approximately 180cms tall with brown hair in a bun. She was wearing a blue hoodie, dark track suit pants. She was pushing a three-wheel pram with a young child in the seat and a female toddler walking by her side holding onto the pram.
