Around 2.30pm on Thursday 15 August 2019, a woman was on a train from Joondalup, travelling towards Perth. As the train arrived at Glendalough Train Station, she got off the train, leaving a bag containing a laptop computer on the seat next to her.

 

A man sat down and took possession of the bag. The victim organised for the train to be searched at Elizabeth Quay for her property, however when this was done, her bag was unable to be found. Inside the bag was a laptop computer worth over $1,000.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light skinned, around 30 years of age, medium build, shaved head and facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded top and long dark pants.
