At around 9.30pm on Tuesday 16 March 2021 the female victim was at the bus port on Orenco Bend in Clarkson waiting for a bus.

A woman approached the victim asking her for the time. The woman then tried to grab the victim’s mobile phone from her hand without success. The woman punched the victim to her face and grabbed hold of a necklace the victim was wearing and pulled it off her neck breaking the necklace.

The woman ran away in possession of the victim’s necklace.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: olive skinned, medium build with dark brown hair tied back, wearing a blue short sleeved T-shirt with black leggings and a light blue hat.
