At around 10.00pm on Friday 12 March 2021 a man entered the basement car park of a building on Goderich Street in East Perth by climbing over the entry gate.

The man attempted to steal a parked motorcycle by trying to break the steering lock. After he was unable to break the lock the man then removed a phone charger from the motorcycle and exited the basement car park.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, approximately 170cm tall with dark brown short hair. He was wearing a black jumper, black Lacoste tracksuit pants and a black Chicago Sox cap.
