Around 6.30pm on Monday 4 February 2019, a man entered a liquor store on Albany Highway in Maddington and walked to the fridge section at the back of the store. He picked up a 10 pack of alcohol and walked towards the front of the store. As he got closer to the checkout, the man ran out of the store without making any attempt to pay for the item.
Police believe the same man was responsible for a similar stealing incident several days later.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: Light skinned, 20-30 years of age, thin build, short dark hair and very distinctive ears.
