At around 12.10pm on Tuesday 12 September 2023, a woman is seen on CCTV inside a hardware store on Albany Highway in Maddington pushing a trolley that contained a large empty cardboard box. The woman took a Ryobi electric pruner and chainsaw from the garden section and seven Ryobi battery and charger packs from the tool shop. She concealed all these items inside the box before leaving the store making no attempt to pay for the concealed items.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: white skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age with long brown hair tied back into a bun and tattoos on her left arm and top of her right foot. She was wearing a brown dress with thongs and carried a brown shoulder bag.
