At around 5.30pm on Monday 18 September 2023, the young victim arrived on his black and grey e-scooter at a grocery store on Lyon Road in Atwell. The victim parked his e-scooter inside the store near the trolley bay and returned fifteen minutes later to find his e-scooter had been taken. CCTV shows a man enter the store, approach the parked e-scooter before climbing onto the e-scooter and riding out of the store on it.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with the sides of his head shaved into a mohawk style strip of brown hair. He was wearing a blue and white hooded jacket, black pants, black joggers and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
