At around 12.40pm on Saturday 24 June 2023, a man entered a hardware store on Alexander Drive in Malaga in company with a woman and small child. After walking around the store for a while looking at items, the woman and child left the store. The man selected a number of items including two tool kits and walked up to the front counter as if to pay, however he suddenly ran out the store with all the items, dropping a gas torch on the way out.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with short black hair and an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black trousers with red joggers.
