At around 2.10pm on Wednesday 17 May 2023, a man and woman entered a bag and luggage store on Attfield Street in Maddington. While the woman distracted the staff member the man grabbed a handbag on display before walking out of the store. The woman followed behind the man exiting the store taking another handbag off a display rack. Both disappeared with the two handbags.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, with some facial hair. He was wearing a white shirt, black shorts, grey shoes with a black hat.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 20 to 30 years of age with long black hair in a pony tail. She was wearing a red t-shirt, light blue jeans with striped joggers.
