At around 2.00am on Friday 19 May 2023, a man and woman entered a service station on Rockingham Road in Hamilton Hill. While the man distracted the staff member, the woman walked around the store filling up her backpack with food and confectionary items. Before they could leave the staff member locked the front doors and asked the female to return the items in her bag. The woman refused and the man threatened to smash up the store if the doors weren’t  opened. The doors were unlocked and both left the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age. He was wearing a red hooded jumper with black track pants, black cap and black shoes.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with long shoulder length straight auburn hair. She was wearing a white jumper over a blue t-shirt, black pants and carrying a blue back pack.
