At around 12.50pm on Monday 27 February 2023, a man and woman were standing at the service counter inside a telecommunications store on Attfield Street in Maddington. While the staff member was distracted the man reached behind the counter and grabbed a new iPhone Pro. The woman then did the same, grabbing a new Samsung Z-fold mobile before they both left the store with the mobile phones.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, medium build, bald with a thin moustache and goatee. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black shorts with black joggers.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, with shoulder length black hair. She was wearing a white singlet, black and white striped pants with thongs and carrying a black shoulder bag.
