At around 1.45pm on Sunday 24 December 2023, a man entered a liquor store on Beaufort Street in Highgate and walked straight up to the RTD fridges. The man is seen on CCTV remove two 10-packs of vodka pre-mixed alcohol from the fridge and place them both into a paper carry bag before making a hasty exit. Staff recognised the man as a repeat offender.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 40 to 50 years of age with a short grey goatee, moustache and tattoos covering both arms. He was wearing a black Adidas singlet, black trousers, black sneakers, a black cap worn backwards and sunglasses.
