At around 11.00am on Wednesday 13 December 2023, the victim parked his black e-tricycle outside a shopping centre on Joondalup Drive in Joondalup. The victim removed the battery and carried it with him while doing his shopping. The victim returned to his e-tricycle at around 12.45pm to find it missing along with his helmet and bag of groceries.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age, with an unshaven appearance and a tattoo on his right arm saying “Caleb”. He was wearing a white golf shirt, blue shorts, black sneakers, yellow cap and carrying a black backpack.
