At around midday on Monday 1 January 2024, the victim believed he dropped his bank card while walking in the Ashfield Reserve on Coulston Road in Ashfield. The next day the victim became aware of 16 fraudulent purchases made on his bank card and immediately cancelled his bank card.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 45 to 55 years of age with black curly hair. He was wearing a navy-blue shirt with white dots, black knee length sport shorts and white sliders.
