At around 3.20pm on Monday 23 September 2024, a man entered a sports clothing store on Council Avenue in Rockingham and walked straight to the display of AFL jumpers. The man removed an Essendon AFL jumper from a rack and concealed it in a bag he was carrying before exiting the store making no attempt to pay for the jumper.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 45 to 55 years of age with a grey beard and moustache. He was wearing a black golf shirt, grey trousers, black and white sneakers with a tan coloured bucket hat and carried a black backpack.
