Between 4.00pm on Friday 5 January 2024 and around 8.00am on Tuesday 9 January 2024, eight copper down pipes, 100mm in diameter and 6 metres in length, were cut and removed from various locations on the grounds of Murdoch University campus on Dixon Road in Rockingham.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with a possible tattoo visible on his lower right arm. He was wearing a red and black flannelette shirt, black knee length shirts, black shoes, dark coloured cap, sunglasses, was riding a bicycle and carrying a camo back pack.
