At around 1.00pm on Wednesday 6 September 2023, the victim was sitting inside an Outpatients Clinic on Goderich Street in Perth and recalls placing her purse next to her on an empty chair. It was only after the victim left the Clinic did the victim realise her purse was missing which contained two bank cards. The victim’s bank cards were used to make eight fraudulent purchases that same afternoon in the Perth CBD.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with long straight auburn hair. She was wearing a red hooded jumper with a large black and white motif printed on the front and rear, black pants, black shoes, sunglasses on top of her head and was carrying a brown shoulder bag.
