Around 5.15pm on Thursday 20 December 2018, the victim made a purchase at a retail store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland. As he was leaving, he dropped his wallet and left the store without realising.

The victim returned to his vehicle before realising what had occurred and returned to the store, however he was unable to locate his wallet. Staff reviewed the instore CCTV footage which captured a male picking up the wallet and leaving the store.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: Light skinned, around 60 years of age, medium build with white hair and beard. He was wearing a short sleeved top and light pants.
