At around 11am on Tuesday 26 December 2023, a man and woman split up as they entered an electronics store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland. They were seen on CCTV select items off the shelves and exit the store without paying, which included two rechargeable torches, an amplifier, two Bluetooth speakers and a Wi-Fi smart lock.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 50 to 60 years of age. He was wearing a black hooded jacket over a white and black checked shirt, camo shorts, white sneakers with a black bucket hat.

The woman is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with blonde hair tied up into a bun and a tattoo visible on the inside of her left forearm. She was wearing a white t-shirt, black sport pants with white sneakers.
