Around 4.30pm on Saturday 14 March 2020, a woman entered a hardware store on Hartman Road Landsdale and selected several items from inside the store. The woman went to a self-service counter and began scanning the items. She then paid for the items she scanned and went to leave the store. As she was exiting an eagle-eyed staff member noticed she had a chainsaw in her basket so asked to see the receipt. The woman told the staff member that she had bought it previously and pushed the trolley past the staff member.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman has a tattoo on the inside of her left forearm.
