At around 11.30am on Friday 13 September 2024, a man walked into a liquor store on Hay Street in East Perth. The man is seen on CCTV enter the cool room and take a number of loose beer cans off the shelf and place them into a shoulder bag he was carrying. The man left the cool room and exited the store without paying for the concealed cans of beer.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with long black hair, thin black moustache and tattoo visible on his right forearm. He was wearing a sleeveless red and black flannelette shirt over a black t-shirt, blue denim pants, tan boots and sunglasses.
