At around 7.45pm on Saturday 29 July 2023, a woman entered a liquor store on Hay Street in East Perth and walked into the wine section. The woman selected a bottle of red wine off the shelf and concealed it in a bag she was carrying before walking out the store without making payment.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with brunette hair tied up into a bun on top of her head and a tattoo visible on the left top side of her back. She was wearing a red dress , white top, black leggings, black boots and was carrying a black shoulder bag and orange jacket.
