At around 4.00am on Sunday 30 July 2023, the victim exited a nightclub on James Street in Northbridge when she was approached by a woman who had been kicked out of the same nightclub. The young woman became aggressive towards the victim, grabbed the victim by her hair and punched her in the face before walking away. A short time later the woman returned and attempted to assault the victim again.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 18 to 25 years of age with black hair in a low bun. She was wearing a black and white corset, a black skirt, a black cardigan and earrings, carrying a brown cross body bag.
