At around 11.30am on Monday 23 January 2023, a woman and two men entered a jewellery store on Hay Street in Perth. The woman and one of the men engaged in conversation with a staff member while the other man stood next to display cabinet near the front of the store and removed a gold ring. Once the gold ring was placed into a bag the man was carrying, all three left the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 40 to 50 years of age with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a black singlet, black cap and carrying a black backpack.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 40 to 50 years of age with black hair tied up into a bun on top of her head. She was wearing a blue Puma t-shirt and carrying a pink backpack with a shoulder bag.
