At around 10.35am on Saturday 14 October 2023, a male person is seen on CCTV enter the general store on Hydroflyte Loop on Rottnest Island. The male walked into one of the aisles and took a pair of Ruggers board shorts off the display shelf before concealing the shorts under a jacket he was carrying. The male exited the store making no attempt to pay for the concealed shorts.
Police have released CCTV images of a male who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The male is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years of age with brow wavy hair. He was wearing a black Adidas t-shirt, black trousers, white runners and carrying a black puffer jacket.
